Why becoming a member?

APRE offers to its members general services aiming at supporting their participation in the EU research and innovation programmes (Framework Programme, Structural funds, CIP-COSME, and any other relevant programmes).

General membership benefits

APRE has become for public and private research and innovation organisations a meeting point to take stock of available information and exchange views on research and innovation EU policies.

APRE facilitates knowledge exchange, joint action and project partnerships between its members, coming from various sectors (industry, academia, business).

APRE signed several agreements with National, Local Institutions as: Italian Ministry of Higher Education and Research, Italian Ministry of Innovation, CNBB (National Committee for Biosecurity and Biotechnologies), UPI (the Union of Italian Provinces) for specific activities in different sectors: Biotec, ICT, Aeronautics and Space.

Thanks to its twenty years of experience, APRE has also gained privileged access to the European Commission services and information.

At the onset APRE established contact and collaboration networks with the main public and private Italian institutes active in the research sector. Thereafter APRE gradually strengthened its presence, which then grew with the network of Members situated throughout the national territory. APRE’s participation in the European Commission’s activities, its numerous partners for the presentation of European projects, and its presence in the European National Contact Point and EEN networks all led to the expansion of APRE’s networks from a national to an international one.
